Tim Urban’s speech, “In the mind of a Master Procrastinator,” he speaks out about how procrastinating is in each one of us and it is not just pertaining to those that are in higher education it pertains to all of us. We all procrastinate in something, and it is how well we deal with it. His speech consists of ethos and pathos. His speech refers to ethos and he gains great credibility and trust with his audience because he is a well-known Blogger himself, by telling his personal story of experience of procrastinating when it came to an assignment that had a deadline. Urban’s speech appeals to pathos because he intelligently captured his audience’s feelings by using his own personal experience and the connections that brought their attention to him were very relatable. His speech was remarkably effective, being that his audience you can tell that they can relate to his story or to any scenario that he was giving, everything had a realistic effect on it. If I had to recommend this video to someone, I would highly recommend it, considering that we all procrastinate in life and it does not have to pertain to any type of assignment that consists of a deadline, it pertains to everything in life around us and how willing are we going to get the job done.
